2. Kale Chips
Kale has grown in popularity over the years and it’s for great reason. This superfood is absolutely loaded with vitamins and minerals, making this leafy green very beneficial to any diet. For those with various dietary concerns, they also play a key role in regulating blood sugar, lowering cholesterol, and aiding in weight loss. As a nice afternoon snack, feel free to aim for a handful (around 20-25 almonds).
4. Roasted Chickpeas
Eating this type of bean regularly can help boost intestinal health and reduce the risk of diabetes. The protein and fiber found in chickpeas will also help you feel full longer. This is perfect for the workday since mindless snacking can be trouble when you’re distracted with work. Roasting them is a great way to bring out more flavor and add a little crunch. Try tossing them with olive oil, salt, chili powder, cumin, and roast at 400 degrees for about 30 minutes.

Energy bites are a great way to pack a ton of nutrients into a bite-sized snack. They’re incredibly easy to make at home and they’re great for anyone who’s on the go.
